It will begin in July 2016 as a pilot program, and we expect it to increase significantly. The messianic communities worldwide have been a bit dis-united in the past, and there has been a major call for unity throughout the movements.
As a result Project Timothy seeks to share resources both for interns and for missions and congregations. Each intern will spend one quarter in Israel. Applications will be received throughout the year and interns and locations will be chosen by September each year to allow for significant fundraising by both entities.
Each intern will work in four different locations during the Gap Year. One of those will be in Israel. Some may be on a leadership track, and others might be more musical or hands-on/craft or work with children. The options are endless.
